This is the mud room.  Its got a desk for household/school/etc. papers and cubbies/lockers on the right hand wall for the kids stuff.

Heres what it looks like right now.  I'm honestly not sure about the stone.  Its growing on me but its definitely more orangeie than I'd expected.

Trim work (mostly) done.

Went out this morning (Sunday) and was surprised to see that they have started work on the stone.  We're not sure about it yet.  Think it will be good, but its hard to judge.  Remember there will be black shutters beside each window.

The stone trim on this side of the house is all done.

This is the "mud Room".  Its the first on the right as you enter the house from the garage.  Its kind of the "liver" of the house.  In other words, it filters out all the crap before it gets into the house.  We customized it and put in a desk with cubbies below and above.  There are two "lockers" on the right wall (unseen) one for each of the kids.

In the keeping room.  The mantle us up and they have framed the raised hearth.  But its still waiting for marble.

Unfortunately these are dark for some reason (no idea why).  Hopefully you can see that the banquet seating is in the breakfast nook.

The family room is all trimmed out with the mantle and marble on the fire place.

We also got a kind of rafter/coffered ceiling in cathedral ceiling of the master bath.
