Progress on the upstairs

OK, I'm late but I've been busy.  These photos are about a week old, I'll take more today and update the blog again soon.  I realized that I didn't take may pic's when I visited the hose last weekend so I've filled in a few from the grounds of Duke University.

No roof yet but upstairs mostly framed

Unfortunately these net shots are NOT the back garden.  They are from a visit we took to the grounds of Duke University.  Its absolutely gorgeous!

Starting to frame the lower level

These were taken through the week.  Its progressed since then, I'll upload todays photos sometime tomorrow.

Front of the house.  Nice that there is only one step up to the porch.

This will be the kitchen (right) and Breakfast Nook (left).  Past this room is the Family room.

Breakfast Nook.  Note the 3 windows along the back.

This will be the Master Bedroom.

The Keeping Room.  there will be a fireplace in the back right corner of this room.  A Keeping Room is a Southern thing.  I believe its like a cross between a Living and Sitting room.  It must have a fire, its a little more formal than a Living room but still a room you can use everyday.

Family Room, looking toward the front.

Fireplace at the back of the Family room.

Pool & Play Park

In these uncertain times may people have been burned by putting down big deposits only to watch the builder go under (with their deposit).  The single biggest thing a builder can do to inspire confidence is (apparently) building the pool ahead of time.

And so we have a nice new pool/club house and play park at Bella Casa.  Some pics for your viewing pleasure.
